Psychosocial Programme

Counselling, mental health support, and self-esteem restoration for vulnerable teenagers

KEEPCARE Rwanda provides psychosocial support to place and maintain vulnerable teenagers, including unwed teen mothers, teenagers affected by HIV/AIDS, and survivors of violence, in stable and supportive family and community environments, following the principles of child and lifespan development.

Teen mothers receiving psychosocial support
Active Programme

Many vulnerable teenagers have lost their parents, experienced violence and exploitation, or face stigma, discrimination, isolation and a lack of adult guidance, leading to trauma, depression and other disorders. Through this programme, KEEPCARE Rwanda provides counselling and psychotherapy to help adolescents overcome these problems and restore their sense of self-esteem.
